Wanda Gail Gamble, 64, entered eternal rest, on February 23, 2021 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Wanda was born August 24, 1956 to Ruth Flegler Gamble and the late William E. Gamble in Mullins, South Carolina. She was educated the New York City Public schools and graduated from Mullins High School in 1974.
Wanda was employed at Southern Packing Corporation for over 25 years. Prior this employment, she worked in housekeeping at Kingston Plantation in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Wanda was a faithful member of Beulah United Methodist Church in Mullins South Carolina and regularly attended Sunday School and Bible Study. Her involvement in the church included but was not limited to being President of the Church Usher Board, serving as church record Keeper, Sunday School Teacher, serving on the Kitchen Committee, Secretary of the church AARP, member of the Jewels of Faith, and singing in the choir.
Wanda leaves to cherish the loving memories of her son Michael E. Gamble and wife Lani of Fort Hood Texas; her mother Ruth F. Gamble; Her brothers William (Karen) Gamble of New York, Gregory Gamble of Ohio; sisters Glenda Boatwright of North Carolina, Cheryl Gamble-Landrith (James) of Virginia, and Shirley Ann Malloy of South Carolina; four grandchildren Jaden, Zenas, D’Chawndrea, and Mycole; two aunts, Earlene Jones of Virginia, and Delores Holmes of New York,; 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 1 grandniece, 2 grand nephews; a host of family and friends. Wanda loved God and knew of God’s love and was always a loving and caring daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Wanda knew no strangers and was always of service to others.
