Thereassa Foxworth

Thereassa Helen Graves Foxworth, eldest child of the late Lawrence and Julia Graves was born on February 19, 1926 in Maron County (Brittons Neck SC).  She peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2023, at The Palms of Florence Nursing Home.

Thereassa married the late Henry Eugene Foxworth Sr in 1951 and raised five children.  She worked as a governess, employee of Mullins Leaf, Southern Packing and retired from Mullins Hospital after 27 years of service. She was a lifelong member of New Ebenezer AME Church and a member of the Eastern Star Palmetto Chapter# since 1953.

Thereassa was preceded in death by her parents, husband (1971), son Walter (2016), siblings Nellie Mae Graves Gause and Winston Graves.

To share her memories are daughter Gloria (Willie)-Seneca SC, sons Nathaniel (Teresa Renee) Foxworth-Lithonia GA, Henry Eugene Foxworth Jr-Mullins SC, Rudolph Foxworth-Mullins SC, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a special granddaughter Porsche R Foxworth (Goose Creek SC),daughter-in law Mary Linda Foxworth-Mullins SC, Special nieces Gracie Ann Gause and Sue Bell Bacchus-Gresham SC, nephew Johnny B and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, special friends Mary Platt, Fannie Simmons and Wood Ann Ellis and a wonderful Care Taker Olivia Hayes. Her extended family members include ,Andrew (Diane) Jenkins-Philadelphia PA, Lee Walter Jenkins-Marion SC, Derius (Anita) Swinton, sister-in-law Creole Sarvis-Loris SC, brothers-in-law Samuel Sarvis-Newark NJ, and Booker T Sarvis-Loris SC.
