Shirley Teachery

 Shirley Teachery, 81, of Mullins, SC passed away to her heavenly home on Monday, July 5, 2021.  She was born August 29, 1937.  She was the daughter of the late James “Man” Swinton and the late Zena Robinson Swinton.  

Shirley was blessed with five (5) sisters and four (4) brothers, of which three sisters and all four brothers preceded her in death.   Shirley worked as a housekeeper for many years in Baltimore, Maryland.    Shirley returned to Mullins, SC and attended Jesus Christ Church before moving to St. Matthews Retirement Home.

Shirley was married at an early age. 

Shirley  leaves  to  cherish  two  (2)  sisters  Ida Mae  Legette  of  Mullins  SC,  Annie  Ruth Wingate of Hampton VA; 1 brother-in-law Heyward Wingate; 2 sisters-in-law Wilhemenia Parker, Elizabeth Swinton, both  of  Mullins  SC;  and  a  host  of  cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
