Robert Luckey, Jr.

Robert Jr Luckey was born October 3, 1948 to Mary Ester Dukes Luckey and the late Robert Luckey Sr.. 

He departed this earthly life on July 5, 2023 at his residence in Dillon South Carolina. Robert was preceded in death with his father Robert Sr brothers Bobby, Herbert, Charlie and sister Mary.

Robert grew up in Lamar South Carolina and later in life he moved to Bronx, New York at the age of 19 years old. He worked most of his years at Clover Laundry in Manhattan New York until he retired and moved back home to Dillon South Carolina.

He joined Friendship #2 Baptist Church in Nichols South Carolina under the leadership of pastor James Odell Bradley and was baptized. 

Robert leaves his cherished memories with his daughter Sheila Luckey Ejibunu (Olalekan), grandchildren Cecily, Daquan, Jalesia(Tanie) and D'Angelo. Great grandchildren Khalief, Khalief,Jabari, and Triniti. Siblings Josephine, Joe(Janie), James David, Ronald, Adam, Cora,Tom, Frances.

Special nieces and nephews Joel(Junior), Janvetta, Deshoun, Demitirus, Monique, James, Joe, Diane and Robert Jr.

Special friends Pat Abraham and Joseph Washington. Special cousin Rose Greene
