Queen Ophelia Kingston

Our Lord and Savior blessed our home with a beautiful angel, Queenie Ophelia Williams Kingston, born May 30, 1933.  She was the daughter of the late Pernell and Flora Lane Williams, who preceded her in death.  She departed this life on Thursday, June 18, 2020.  She will be missed dearly by many.

Ophelia, as she was affectionately known, was educated in the Dillon County Public Schools and attended Allen University in Columbia, SC.  She was employed by the Dillon County Board of Education, District #3 for 27 years until her retirement.  A devoted Christian, she was a member of Weston Chapel A.M.E. in Latta, SC.  She served on many auxillaries such as  The Pulpit Aide Board, Stewardess Board, Missionary Society and Senior Choir.
