Mrs. Peggy Ann Crawford went to be with her Shepherd on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Peggy Ann Crawford (Tiny) as she was affectionately called was born on September 13, 1945 in Marion County to Mr. John Wesley Tart and Elizabeth McAllister, who preceded her in death.
Tiny was educated in the public schools of Marion County and at an early age she gave her life to Christ where she attended House of God of Mullins. Then she moved into the ministry at her mother’s church, “Whosoever Will Let Them Come.” Eventually finding a home at True Worship Ministries where she was a devoted evangelist and Mother of the church and served on the Usher Board. She was a woman of God who loved God and didn’t mind telling nobody how wonderful God has been to her.
Tiny met and married the late Deacon James Lee Crawford who brought much excitement to her life. Preceded her in death were her parents, one sister, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Mary Cookie Crawford of the home, Robin (James) Robinson, Kisha (Herbert) Crawford, Mary Candy (Joe) Robinson, all of Mullins SC; her sons: Michael Crawford, Richard Crawford, both of Mullins SC; 9 sisters Mary Jean Salters, Brenda Jean Tart, Marion Tart, Myra (Norwood) Canty, Nina Mae Barr, Sheila Tart, Beverly Shea Hayes, Janice Tart, Bobbie Ann Leonard; 7 brothers John Tart, Jr., Waldo (Rena) Tart, Larry (Annie) Tart, Micheal (Susan) Tart, Vince (Willette) Tart, Walt (Hazel) Tart, and Leon Reaves; 25 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren: Delisha Crawford, Rahkeem Ray, Whitney Scott, William Scott, Xavier Ray, Deasia Crawford, Mychayla (Prennis) Stanley, Ze’kia Crawford, Niquan Dixon, Jyrese Crawford, Peggy Crawford, Trevon Crawford, Alexis Crawford, Jyque Crawford, Nikiya Crawford, Yasmin Robinson, Tykel Williams, Sharece Davis, D’Marrio Davis, Raeshaul Davis, Ashley Wheeler, Hope Crawford, Alisha Crawford, Aaliyah Crawford, April Crawford, Tamiyra Gause; 2 sisters-in-law Marilyn Tucker and Betty Jean Crawford, both of Mullins SC; a special niece Jeana Williams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
