Pearlie Mae McFarland was on born on April 19, 1955, in Dillon County, South Carolina to the parents of the late Sandy and Ima McFarland. She was the youngest of five children.
Pearl as she was known by everyone departed this earthly life on February 9, 2022, in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she had been residing since 2002.
Pearl graduated from Mullins High School in 1974. Upon retiring, she was doing what she did best, which was working in the medical field. Pearl enjoyed helping people.
Pearl loved spending time watching old shows on television and talking with her family and friends. Friends and family loved her because she was always the life of the party or conversation. She would make sure that you left her with a smile.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents the late Sandy and Ima McFarland and her brothers M.C. McFarland and Sandy McFarland, Jr.
Pearl leaves to cherish precious memories her only child, Takita Currie of Charlotte, NC. Grandson, Christopher Coaxum of Harrisonburg, VA. Her Sisters Mildred Davis of Gresham, SC Shirley Leonard of Latta, SC. 2 Sister in laws Jimmie Ruth McFarland and Mary McFarland of Mullins, SC. One Aunt Margaret Lane Barr of Latta, SC. Three bonus sisters Jerry Dean Fryson of Mullins, SC Deborah Brunson of Latta, SC and Hattie Sharp of Las Vegas, NV A bonus daughter, Sabrina M. White of Charlotte NC. Two bonus sons Steven Taylor and Jamar Reed of Charlotte, NC. A special son-in-law Gene Izzard of Rochester, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends who loved her as much as she loved them.
