Patsy Washington Waters

Patsy Washington Waters was the daughter of the late Ed Washington Jr. and Gladys Ford.  She was born on October 10, 1951 in Mullins, South Carolina.  She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Florence, SC at 5:30am.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there for us no matter what. She was practically a mother to everyone, who made broken look beautiful and made strong look invincible.  Mommy, we will be saying goodbye today, but you will always be with us.  You're the reason we have such a great value of life, not to mention work ethics.  You did such an amazing job of loving and raising us both, your grateful daughters Tonia and Nita.  It is such an honor to call you our mommy.

Patsy was preceded in death by both of her parents, five siblings:  Billy Washington Sr., Jerry Washington, Evan Washington, Elizabeth Washington Carmichael, Alberta Bailey, and her life-long partner Ben Frank Legette.

She leaves to cherish all of her memories-- her two children Patsy L. Waters of Paterson, New Jersey and Bonita Renfrow (Jason) of Kenly, North Carolina; nine grandchildren: Rakee Waters (Jazmine), Shayana Waters, Kadejhia Sellers, Fredrick Sellers Jr, Leandra Sellers, Johnathan Nesbit Waters, Rashad Waters, Jakayla Renfrow, Jason Renfrow Jr; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Edward Charles (Andrea) Washington, Jerome (Pam) Hayes; four sisters: Rae Leonard (Joe) Mae Washington, Clara Yates (Henry Jr.-deceased), and Evangelist Barbara Jones (Randolph); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
