Mary Alice Genwright

Mary Alice Jones Genwright entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in her home. She was the daughter of the late Mack and Nancy Jones. Mary Alice was born November 29, 1933 in Dillon County, SC. On February 4, 1961, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Vander Lee Genwright, the love of her life

Mary Alice accepted Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health began to decline. Mary Alice always gave God His praises no matter where she went. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband Vander Lee Genwright, parents Nancy Davis Jones and Mack Jones; three brothers and six sisters.

Mary Alice, is survived by her son: Jimmy Lee (Pat) Jones of Mullins, SC, five grandchildren: Fikera (Vincent) Gerald of Atlanta, GA, Andrea (Justin) Burch of Pamplico, SC, Jimmi Lynette Jones of Mullins, Chiffon Legette of Mullins and Kristi (Jason) Weeks of Tega Cay, SC. She leaves behind twelve greatgrands. She leaves three sisters: Shirley Jones of Columbia, SC, Geraldine Tisdale, Cora Bell Davis of Marion, SC, and one brother, James (Carolyn) Fulton of Willingburg, NJ. She leaves four sisters-in-law: Ida Bell Lowery, Fanny Raeford, Frances Martin and Agnes Genwright, all of Mullins, SC, and a host of nieces, grand nieces, nephews, grand nephews, cousins, and friends.
