Marshall Green

Marshall Green departed this life Monday, May 31, 2021, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Marion, SC.  He was born on July 27, 1972, to the late Joanne Green Darby in Marion County, South Carolina. Marshall was educated by the Public School System of Marion County.

Later in life he joined Gresham Chapel Holiness Church in the Friendship Community, SC. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Green Darby; grandparents: James “JC” and Ardella Green; 2 aunts: Evelena “Jessie Mae” Morris and Pauline Green; and 3 uncles Frederick Green, Lee Davis, and James “Sterling” Morris.

Marshall leaves to cherish fond memories, his sister Kevan (Chavis) Hemingway of Rains SC; a grandmother Lola Bell Foxworth of Marion SC; four (4) aunts: Frances Green of the home, Bertha Davis of Rains SC, Earlean (James) Miller of Penderboro SC and Dorothy Green of Rains SC; one (1) uncle James Green of Rains SC; three (3) nephews: Devonte “DJ” Graves of Brittons Neck SC, Timothy “TJ” Fladger, Jr. of Rains SC, Kaiden Hemingway of Rains SC; one (1) great nephew Zhy’on Graves of Brittons Neck SC and one (1) great niece Emani Fladger of Rains SC; a host of other relatives and friends. Also, a special cousin and friend, Major Aiken of Rains SC.
