Lula Faye Finklea departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2024 after a brief illness. Lula was born to the late Elijah Finklea and Daisy Finklea Gore on May 13, 1953.
Lula Faye Finklea attended the public schools of Marion County. Lula grew up working on the farm in Temperance Hill and briefly worked at Mullins Leaf Tobacco Company and SoPakCo in Mullins.
Lula was preceded in death by one niece, Tasha Latrice Finklea; one nephew, Elijah La Tron Finklea and one great nephew, Isaiah Baccus.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories; Six sisters; Kate Smith, Memphis, TN; Joyce Finklea, of the home; Brenda Finklea Smith, Brandywine, MD; Dale Witherspoon, Bowie, MD; Wanda Finklea, Mullins, SC, and Angela Finklea, Marion, SC; one brother: Pastor Elijah (Pastor Linda) Finklea, Mullins, SC. Seven neices, five nephews, nine great neices and seven great nephews. A special cousin, Louise Finkley and a host of relatives and friends.
