Juanita Wilson

Mrs. Juanita Wilson was born to the late Isabel and Ashley Wilson on April 26, 1940 in Manning, SC. On Monday, February 15, 2021 she entered into eternal life at McLeod Hospital, Florence, SC.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Wilson; father, Ashley Wilson; brothers: Luscious, Ernest and Tim Wilson; and sister Bernaly Dows.

Juanita joined Little Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lake View, SC where she served as a choir member. She remained a member until her death. Juanita also worked with the Lake View School Systems for 27 ½ years.

She leaves to cherish memories – her husband – Leonard Wilson, Sr. of the home; children: Leonard Wilson Jr. of Lake View, SC; four sisters: Julia Abraham of Philadelphia, PA, Johnnie Mae Davis of Philadelphia, PA, Merceline Boatwright of Philadelphia, PA and Alona Boatwright of Sumter SC; one brother, Bo Peep Boatwright of Manning SC; four grandchildren: Lashonda Wilson (Pernell) of Columbia SC, Chris Townsend (Tyniece) of Charlotte NC, Brandon Reaves (Lakea) of Greensboro NC, and Christian Samuel (Suquanna) of Charleston SC, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
