James Moody

     James Pearlie Moody Jr, an affectionally known as “June Bug” was born on January 24, 1965 in Mullins, S.C. to Pearlie and Ethel Moody. He departed this life on February 28, 2019. James was educated in The Marion County School System. He later moved to Atlantic City, NJ and worked at Franklin Electric Company. He was known as one of Mullins finest Electricians. He was a member of Beulah United Methodist Church (SC). James was married to Angela Hayes. James was pre-deceased by his father Pearlie Moody and nephew Kevin Gause. He leaves to cherish his fond memories,  his son Gavin L. Reed of Marion SC; His mother Ethel Moody-Pitts (Riley) of Pleasantville, NJ; brother Michael (Helena) Moody of Atlantic City, NJ: sister Patricia Moody (Theron) of Atlantic City, NJ; two grandchildren Zyme’re & Carter Reed of Marion SC; Aunts; Barbara Pressley of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Martha Clark of Pleasantville, NJ Carrie M. Womack of Atlantic City, NJ; Uncles; Silas (Annie Bell) Pressley of Winston Salem, NC; Jeff (Loretta) Pressley of Hallendale, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, spiritual family (The Gandy’s) and friends.
