…And as it has been written “that when thou summit calls” one must answer the Master. James Kenneth Arnette received his call Thursday Morning December 17, 2020. He was the son of the late C. J. Arnette and Mazel Joanne Ford Arnette. Tank, as he was lovingly called was born to this happy union, April 18, 1961.
James joined St. Paul AME Church at an early age where he served as an usher and participated in various youth programs. He graduated from Lake View High School in 1979. After graduation he moved to Clinton, Oklahoma where he joined the United States Army, later he joined the United States Army Reserve. While in Oklahoma City he worked for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
James memory will be long cherished by his mother Mazel Arnette, his son Justin and daughter Monae’ of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three brothers: Ronald M. Arnette and Carroll W. Arnette of Lake View, SC and Robert L. Arnette of Hinesville, GA. Other survivors include six nieces, two nephews and scores of other cousins, relatives and friends
