Jamel Tyjon Grant

On Sunday, July 10, 2022, Jamel Ty’Jon Grant departed this life on Earth and gained his wings. He was affectionally called, Ty’Jon or simply “Ty.” Ty was born on December 7, 1997 in Wilmington, NC to Jewell Grant and Jamell McCallum. Jamel was preceded in death by his older brother, Dexter Glendale Grant.

Ty leaves to cherish his fond memories with his beloved son, Legend Grant; his mother Jewell Grant of SC; his father Jamell of NC; five sisters: Keyonna Hayes, Mahogany Grant, Cerenity Grant, Yodney Nesmith, and Sydney McCallum; four brothers: Rasheed Grant, Jaden McCallum, Julian McCallum, Keyshawn McCallum; two nephews Messiah Smith and Honor Pemberton; and a host of cousins and friends.
