Ida Ruth Pee was born on May 02, 1946 in Mullins, South Carolina to Ida B Legette and Robert Legette. She was blessed with 74 years of life and entered the presence of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 26, 2020.
Ida Ruth attended Palmetto High. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was baptized and joined Everbee Baptist Church in Mullins, South Carolina. She served faithfully as the secretary of Sunday School, and as a delegate for the union. She was a honorary member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church before she joined on September 15, 2019.
She was employed for several years at Sopacko and AVM in Mullins, South Carolina.
Ida Ruth’s greatest joy was to see all her boys. She also enjoyed spending time with her grands and great grands.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, George Milton Pee, two sons Darnell Pee and Gregory Pee, two brothers O’Neal Legette and Sherman Legette, and sister, Judy Legette.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her sons: Jessie (Billie) Pee of San Antonio, Texas, Lorenza (Marsha) Pee of Mullins, SC, David (Geawyna) Pee of McDonough, Georgia, and Roberto Pee of Mullins, SC, 3 sisters: Mary (Jerome) Pollard of New Jersey, Jackie (James) Oates, and Joann Sibley both of Charlotte, NC, 3 brothers: Jerry (Cynthia) Legette, Robert (Zena) Legette, and Arthur Legette all of Charlotte, NC, 11 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren, a host of aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended sons, other relatives, church family, and friends. A special niece, Glennis Nichols, close friend, Beverly Horne, and caregiver Antoinette McDuffie.
