Houston Adam Owens also known as “Red” was born in Dillon, South Carolina to Houston and Willie Mae Owens on January 6th, 1985. Houston Adam “Red” Owens departed this life on Sunday, May 17th, 2020 in Columbia, South Carolina. He attended Dillon County Schools and graduated from Florence/ Darlington Technical College majoring in Diesel Mechanics.
At an early age Adam became a member of First Friendship Baptist Church #1, Nichols, South Carolina where he served as the Sunday School Junior Superintendent, Choir, Musician and on the Usher Board. Adam was employed by Love Travel Store in Elgin, South Carolina. Adam will always be remembered for that “big smile” and his love for trucks.
Adam leaves to cherish his memories his parents Houston and Willie Mae Owens, one (1) daughter Keniah Ariel Owens all of Dillon, South Carolina. One (1) brother Andre Edward Graham of Rockport, Texas, one (1) nephew D’Andre Graham of Ingleside, Texas; Financee Sharneice Murphy of Columbia, South Carolina; three (3) aunts Doris Owens Page, Glendale Owens Gilchrist of Nichols, South Carolina; Bernice Mason of Lumberton, North Carolina and a host of cousins and friends.
