George Cephus Wheeler Jr. was born June 26, 1956 in Marion County SC to the late Bishop George C. Wheeler Sr. and Clara Mae Williams Wheeler. He was the first born of eight siblings. He took on the role of big brother seriously and committed. George was affectionally known as “BO” to his family and friends. George was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at an early age.
George was joined in holy matrimony to Eva Mae Duncan. George acquired his work ethics of dedication and commitment at an early age. He served various positions as a truck driver to owning his own Taxicab Company. His best job ever was becoming the founder and owner of his own security company called BO Security. He was a GOD-fearing man who believed in family, loved his family. He was a firm believer of being strict but fair. He never met a stranger, he helped everyone. His love for life and family affected all in a loving way. To know BO was to love him, he had a big heart.
George was proceeded in death by his sister Gether Wheeler and a daughter Myia Wheeler Carmichael.
George leaves to cherish his fond memories his wife, Eva Mae Wheeler, two special grandsons whom he helped raised, DeAndra Green and Tyron Allen; daughters Queenie Duncan of the home; Lakisha (Willie) Bethea Johnson, Dillon SC; Georgianna Harps, Florence SC; Nichole Page, Dillon SC; His sons, Ali Davis, Durham NC; Robert Thompson, Florence SC; Andre Bethea, Dillon SC; William Davis, Florence SC; Clifton (Laure) Davis, Burlington NC. His bother Joseph (Betty) Wheeler, Mullins SC, his sisters, Joyce Eaddy, Mae F. Page, Patricia (Kennis) Wheeler Godbolt, CasSandra Wheeler -Ross, Eva L. (Leroy) Braddy all of Mullins SC. Brother-in-Laws and Sister-in-Laws; Lee (Louise) Duncan, Marion SC; Betty (Leon) Woodbury; Bobby Ann (Curtis) Braddy; Jonathan Godbolt, Joe Jr. (Monique) Godbolt, all of Mullins SC. Mother-in-Law Margie Gerald, Mullins SC; Step-Mother Patricia Godbolt; his aunts Minnie Littles, Mullins SC; Rose Carolyn Wheeler, Baltimore Maryland. Twenty grandchildren, eight great -grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
