Fred Allen White, 71, departed this life Friday December 6, 2019 in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family and beloved Tiny.
Fred White was born to the late Howard and Emma White on January 27, 1948 in Centenary, South Carolina.
Mr. Fred White was educated in Marion County public school. He enlisted in the United States Army on January 15, 1968 where he served honorably in Ft. Jackson, SC, Germany and Vietnam receiving the National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Campaign & Service Medal and Award of Good Conduct.
Fred White was admired by many for his humorous, fun-loving and direct personality. He openly gave sounded advice to anyone who needed him to listen.
Fred White extends his legacy and leaves fond memories to his three daughters Jamiel (Taurus) White-Phillips of Washington DC, Kashika Hendon and Denise Godbolt , both of Charlotte, North Carolina
Eight sibling preceded him in death: Eugene, Henry, Taft, and LC, Howard White Jr; Almateen McGaney, Emma Lee Phillips, Mary White Legette, Precilla Crawford and his only surviving sister, Listeen White Owens, of Ft. Pierce, Florida
Two son-like nephews Cleveland White and Mack McGaney known as Peter and Honey; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; a special friend until his final moments, Wanda Pittman; and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
