Esther R. Legette

Ms. Esther Ruth Legette entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 3rd 2021 at Mullins Hospital. Esther was born on November 7th, 1946 in Marion County, SC to the late Nathaniel and Elgavie Legette. She attended the Public School of Marion County, SC.

Esther Legette leaves to cherish her fond memories with one son, Christopher E. Smith (Christina Smith) of Waldorf, MD. Two daughters, Patrica Diann Nelson of Charlotte, NC. Carolyn D. Smith of Mullins, SC. And one god daughter, Tiny Williamson of Bronx, NY. and a very special friend Anthony Henley of Marion SC and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends.

Six Grandkids: Ashley Nelson and Craig Graham of Charlotte, NC.  DeAndre, Demari, Dimyah, and Devin Smith of White Plains, MD. Two Great Grandkids Jamarian J Royal of Charlotte, NC and Carter Steven Graham of Mullins, SC.  Two sisters, Alice (William) Tarlton of Marion, SC. Beverly (Wilson) Eaddy of Marion, SC.

Three brothers, Leon “Snake” Legette, Nathaniel Legette Jr. and James Legette preceded her in death.
