Obituary
Erma True Wright was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on the morning of June 18,2023 at age 76.
Erma life’s journey began on April 26, 1947. Her parents Henry Gilchrist and Arjestine Gilchrist. After graduating from High school, Erma moved to New York where she had a successful 20 plus year career working as a nurse. She also would meet her husband, Irving S. Wright Sr. Together, they had two children: Irving Troy Wright Jr and Machanda Wright.
Erma transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Mcleod Hospice, Florence SC, after an illness.
Erma was preceded in death by four brothers.
Erma leaves to cherish her fond memories of her many nieces, nephews and cousins along with a host of friends. Her niece Atiya Gilchrist and her friendship with Tracey Richmond helped to bring comfort and joy in the Final stages of her life.
