Emma Williamson

Emma Ruth Williamson, daughter of the late McGee and Queenie Gause, was born on March 24, 1955 in Marion County, Mullins, South Carolina. She entered eternal rest on Monday, October 23, 2023 at MUSC in Florence, South Carolina.

“Cuda” as she was affectionately known to all was educated in the Marion County Public Schools of Mullins, South Carolina. She worked at So-Pack-Co Inc. of Mullins, South Carolina. Later in life she worked at Williamson’s BBQ in Nichols, South Carolina until her health began to fail.

Preceding her in death, addition to her parents ~ one son: Kevin Gause; five brothers: Willie McGee, Henry Gause, Jimmy Gause, Harry Gause, and Bennie Gause.

Emma leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories ~ her husband: Alvin Williamson of Marion, SC; two children: Willie Mack Gause, Regina {Jerry Sr.} Genwright both of Florence SC; four sisters: Dorothy Fields Brunson, Nancy Gause, Wanda {Mack} Williams, Martha Gail Gause all of Mullins, SC, Lou Brenda {Levern} Cross of Marion SC; three grandchildren: Jerrisha Genwright and Jerry Genwright Jr. both of Florence, SC, Emanuel Willie Gause of Lumberton, NC; a loving caregiver: Jackie Reaves and a host of special cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
