Dorothy Mae Rogers

Dorothy Mae Harrington Rogers was born September 05,1947 to the late Mr. Walter S. Harrington and Mrs Estella Mae Barr Harrington in Roberson County, NC. She was joined in holy matrimony to Buddy Lee Rogers in 1961 and from this union they were blessed with a son Buddy Lee Rogers Jr. who preceded her in death.  On Friday August 27th, 2021, God Called out Mother's name and she answered His call.

She received her education in the public schools of South Carolina and  attended New Born Assembly Pentacostal Church located in Mullins S.C.  She was baptized in the name of Jesus and accepted the Lord as her personal Savior under the leadership of Apostle Adella Washington. Mother Dorothy Rogers was a very active member until her health declined; faithfully serving on the Mother's Board, Mother's Gospel Choir and as Pastor's Aide.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband Buddy Lee Rogers, of Mullins S.C, two brothers David Harrington, (Margaret), Eddie Harrington Mullims S.C; Four sisters Betty Irene Harrington, Mullins S.C,  Joyce Harrington Carter (Columbus) Greeleyville, SC Geraldine and Wanda Harrington, Mullins S.C. (both preceding in death). Three Grandchildren Shannon Rogers, Quentin Rogers (Chanda) Greenville S.C, and Bryce Rogers, Monroe, NC.  Great grands Zyrhel, Zavion, Zion, Kali, Bryce Jr. Rogers, Aaniyah Brown, and Caylen Galadim.

As well as a host of nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters in law, cousins and friends whom she loved very much.
