Denise Rozzell

An Angel was dispatched by the Lord before sunrise on Friday, December 21^st 2018 to retrieve Denise Rozzell from her earthly form. Denise a.k.a “Candy” was born March 8^th, 1954 to the parents of David and Bessie Rozzell in Brooklyn NY. She had a sister, Delores Rozzell who preceded her in death. In the midst of caring for family, she was trained extensively in Human Services. On September 7^th 2016 Denise and her husband Ronald Davis moved to Florence, S.C.

Denise leaves behind a host of family members who loved her beyond words. She leaves behind Ronald Davis, her life partner for over 50 years; eight children, Marion Davis, Renee Davis, Connie Davis Lewis(Nigill), Shalonda Davis, Ronald Davis, Monique Davis, Linda Gerald, and Charrise Davis; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a host of cousins and in-laws in the Cheatham. Rozzell, Reaves, Gerald, and Hemmingway Families. Denise also leaves behind an unmeasurable amount of family beyond her blood relatives back in our hometown of Bedford Stuyvesant and other places.
