"And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you." John 16:22 KJV
We are celebrating the life of Mr. Cornell Paige, Sr., aka "Connell" born June 10, 1955 in Mullins, SC to the late Thomas H. Paige and Bessie Mae Pompey.
He was a graduate of Mullins High School Class of 1974. His places of employment were in the manufacturing industry until retirement. Cornell enthusiastically worshipped the Lord from the church to the street without wavering. He loved the Lord! He was a faithful member of True Faith Deliverance Temple in Mullins, SC fo 40 years, serving as Deacon Assistant, a member of the Men's Choir, and accomplished all duties he was assigned.
He was preceded in death by Brothers: David Paige, George Paige, Wendell Paige, and Lerome Paige; Sisters: Hannah Mae Paige, Blanche Graves, and Sarah Atkinson; Son Manasses Paige.
While GOD, wife Annie Paige and family were the love of his life, he was also an avid fan of the Clemson Tigers Football Team. He would ride around town with Clemson flags blowing in the wind, sporting his orange Clemson signature sunglasses letting everyone know "About those Tigers!" Also Cornell was an exceptional cook of Chicken and Rice (Bog); he definitely earned bragging rights. "Connell" will surely be missed!
