Christopher Leron Cooper

Christopher Leron Cooper, fondly known as “Coop” was born on January 7, 1990 in Marion County to  Carolyn Cooper and Kendrick Wilson. He departed this life on  September 20, 2023.

Chris attended public schools in Marion County, and  graduated in 2008 from Mullins High School. He later received a Bachelor of Arts from Greensboro College in 2017.   He began his journey to Christ as a member of Serenity Faith Ministry at an early age.

Chris was a dedicated and loving father. His capacity for love and kindness extended to all those he came in contact with. He loved to watch and play sports, especially football and basketball.

Chris leaves behind two children, Miles Crawford and Da’Zionna Livingston; his parents Carolyn Cooper and Kendrick (Melinda) Wilson; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Cooper and paternal grandmother, Bishop Claudette Wilson; brothers and sisters, LaTasha Reed, Jameka Owens, Jalik Wilson, Zy’Asia Wilson, Javaris  Porter, Kennedy Wilson, and Kailik Faulk; 7 aunts and 6 uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends, too numerous to name.

Preceding him in death, maternal grandfather, Carol Staley, paternal grandfather, Bishop Albert Wilson, and aunt, LaTina Wilson.
