     Cheryl Lynn Legette Williams was born May 9, 1954 in Mullins, South Carolina to Moses and Sarah Legette.  She was baptized and received her first communion at Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church. 

     Cheryl graduated from Mullins High School.  She was very kind hearted and had a charismatic personality that attracted a diverse group of loyal friends.  Cheryl’s’ smile brightened up the room.  Her family and friends will truly miss her. 

     Cheryl ascended with the Lord on Sunday March 29, 2020 at MUSC in Florence, South Carolina.  Her parents, Moses and Sarah Legette preceded her in death.  She had two sisters whom also preceded her in death; Dorothy Legette and Janis Gerald, two brothers Moses Legette Jr. and Jimmy Legette.  She leaves her sisters behind Judy Hughes(Columbia, SC) and Debvin Legette (Florence, SC).  

     She leaves to cherish many memories to Clarence Williams and her daughters: Courtney Stamps (Rajshard) and her son Jacorey Stamps (Chespeake, VA); Hope Williams, her son Timar Jones Jr., and future son-in-law Timar Jones (Mullins, SC); her step-son Dexter Reaves (Kira) and Daylin Reaves (Greenville, SC) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
