Charles Douglas Shuler was born on July 5, 1960.  On Saturday afternoon Charles Douglas Shuler known as Bychie departed his life on September 19, 2020 in Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis Md. He was the son of the late Ernestine Shuler and Stark Ford who preceded him in death, a daughter Charneka Ernestine Shuler. Five brothers Robert, Billy Ray, Donald Shuler, James & John Nance, two Sisters Jearlean Leonard and Annette Colvin.

 He attended Lake View High School. He worked for Prince George County Public School in the Transportation Dept. until his health failed. He attended Galilee Baptist Church in Washington DC. He loved transporting children back and forth from home, school, and trips.  He was a member of the St Mark Masonic Lodge #71 in Lake View South Carolina. He loved cooking for his family and detailing his Camaro. He loved music, telling jokes and working in the yard planting flowers. He loved traveling and meeting people, he was never a stranger to anyone. Most of all he was a Die Hard Dallas Cowboys Fan. He loved his family far and near. He loved giving his family nick names such as “His little black sister”, Big Daddy, Nick Nick, Ra Ra, Cole, Punkin, and Woot  to name a few. During his last couple of months of his life he

loved spending time with his precious granddaughter Jasey or as he called  her his “funny face.” He loved all of his family. Every time he came home he made sure to visit the elderly and nursing facilities.

 He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Sonya Shuler “Therefore what God has joined together let no man separate.” (Mark 10:9)

Two daughters Sequoria (James) of the home and Tiffany Shuler of Florence SC. His God daughter Joy Camp of College Park MD. Two grand-children Kavel McCoy and Jasey Connelley. Six sibling Harlan (Rose) Shuler of Oxon Hill MD, Beulah Shuler of New Carrollton MD., Donnella (Oscar) Helton of Bremen GA., William and Dianne Shuler of Lake View S.C.

Revered Lindsay (Tanya) Ford, of Winston Salem NC. A brother in Law Winston Colvin of Lake View S.C., Father in law Warren Nedd of Lynchburg S.C., and Gerald (Saundra) Price, of Florence S.C., Brother-in-law’s Warren Taye Wright of Augusta Ga, Sinclair (Saquettta) Nedd of of Fayetteville NC, Garrod (Denise) Price of Florence S.C., John (Janilla) Price of Florence S.C., and a sister in-law Kisha Price (Thomas) Wilson of Charlotte NC, Uncle David

Wright of Lynchburg, Fennie Wright of Charlotte NC, St. Clair (Karen) Wright of Bowie MD, Hattie Wright (Billy) McCollum, Mary Cain of Lanham Md. Two special cousin Pat and Margie of Gaddy New York, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousin and friends, whom he loved with all his heart.
