“For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8
Charles Robinson was called home Thursday, February 29, 2024. Charles transitioned from his earthly body at Carlyle Senior Care of Fork, SC to his eternal rest with the Lord.
Charles Robinson was born September 25, 1956, to the late Bob L. Robinson and Annie Bernice Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew who was like a brother, Frankie Robinson; Bobby Lee Robinson, James Robinson, Lucius Robinson, and Larry Robinson. Charles graduated from Lake View High School. Charles always greeted people with a smile. In the early part of his life, e would travel to Florida to help produce fruits.
Before Charles fell ill, he would work seasonal farming. Many times, I would hear Charles say the work was physically demanding but rewarding for him. Charles took the good with the bad and kept on moving; in other words, Charles was a tough bird.
Charles leaves to cherish his two sisters: Annie Louise Williams (John W.) of High Point, NC and Blond Eva Crawford of Albany, NY; two brothers Leverne Robinson of Florence, SC and Jimmy Robinson of Dillon, SC, and one niece that was raised like a sister, Linda Flesch (Joseph) of Pinehurst, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
