Betty Boston Obituary

Saturday, July 11, 2020 God took one of His Angels home to live with Him eternally in heaven.
She peacefully entered into eternal rest at MUSC in Florence, SC.
Mrs. Betty Lou Boston was the fourth child born to the late Fleger and Emma Leggette Genwright on Monday, July 14, 1933 in Marion County, South Carolina.
She joined Everbee Baptist Church at an early age, where she was a faithful member until her health declined.
Betty is mourned by one remaining brother, Hormon (Willadean) Genwright.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Moses Genwright, and two sisters, Mattie Mae Graves and Molly Mae Jamison.
Mrs. Betty Lou was a loving wife to the late Wilson Boston. This union produced six children. Betty Joyce (James) McLeod, Johnny (Bernice) Boston, Raymond Boston, Emma (Ronald) Wright and Lennette Boston. She was preceded in death by her son Shelton Boston. She also helped to raise her grandson Terrance and (Denise) Boston.
Mrs. Betty Lou had many names; wife, mother, aunt, cousin, neighbor and friend to name a few. Her favorite name above all the rest was Grandma. Betty Lou was blessed with eleven grandkids and twenty-three great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her grandson Ronald Christopher Boston.
Mrs. Betty Lou is mourned by her loving family, her beloved Everbee Church family, neighbors, friends, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and healthcare professionals.
