The Obituary

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."  Revelation 21:4

On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Billy Lee Gray, Sr. transitioned from this world and entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord.  Billy Lee affectionately known as 'Po Bill' was born January 26, 1950 to the late Mrs. Elouise Gray Everette and the late Mr. Washngton Gray.  He attended the public schools of Marion County and graduated  in the class of 1968.  In August 1969, Billy was drafted into the US Army where he served from 1969 to 1971.  

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Sanders Brunson. Additionally, four brothers:  Walter "Robert" Gray, Jerome Gray, Robert "Biggie" Gray, Jeffery Paul Everette, Stepmother Carrie Gray and Stepfather Hosey Everette.

He leaves behind to cherish fond memories his son Billy Lee Gray, Jr. of Mullins, SC; daughter Pongelia Fryson of Irmo, SC; son Bevis Anthony (Tembi) Gray of Columbia, SC and daughter Cathy Katrinda (David) Dye of Charlotte, NC; his siblings: Glen (Thomasina) Everett of Washington, DC, Keith Gray of Dothan, AL, Coleman (Cheryl) Everett of Fayetteville, NC; Dollie E. (Richard) Hodge of Mullins, SC and Pamela Mosley of Dothan, AL; grandchildren: Dominique Kirby and D'Kari Fryson, Kierra and Kylie Gray, Ayden and Ariyah Dye; special niece, Ebony Everett and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
