Annie Mae Lewis Vereen, the daughter of the late Norton & Fannie Mae Lewis was born on October 21, 1936 in Mullins, SC. She departed this life after a brief illness on April 1, 2023.
She attended the public school at Mullins, SC. She joined the Six Mount Zion Baptist Church at an early age. Where she was a member of the adult choir and performed other duties in the church.
Annie Mae “AKA” Popsie will be remember for her sense of humor, loving kindness, a smile that would light up a room, she loved her family and she was devoted to them, a caring and supported Mother. She loved to cook and she would feed anyone that was hungry.
She was preceded in death her husband, John Willie Vereen, daughters; Mae Frances and Shirley Vereen, Sons; Kenneth Vereen and Danny Lewis, 3 Brothers; Rembert, Felton and Herbert Lewis , Jr.
