Obituary
Sandra Faye (Gerald) Grice, daughter of the late Mr. Monroe and Mrs. Leola (Mack) Gerald, (known by family and friends as Faye) was born on July 22, 1956. She was the forth child of nine children.
Faye attended Nazarene Baptist Church and accepted Christ and became a member at an early age. She attended school in Mullins, SC.
Faye and her husband, John, were a close pair. You rarely saw one without the other.
Faye loved to shop, especially for purses, she really admired everyone’s purse. She would say “I like your purse” in a way that made you feel you needed to give her yours, until you realized she had more than you had. She loved her birthday and always reminded everyone. She loved to call to check on her family. You never had to worry about staying on the phone too long because she would only talk for about a minute, just long enough to ask how you and your family were doing. Faye will always be remembered as someone you couldn’t help but love.
Faye always had a special love for all her children.
Her son Christopher Woodberry preceded her in death.
She will be lovingly remembered by: her husband, John Grice; son, David Washington; daughter, Karla Washington (Equnike) Adams of Bronx, NY; Mother-in-law, Mrs. Juanita Grice; eight siblings, Emma Gerald of Detroit MI, Charles (Yoselin) Gerald of Bear Delaware, Caldwell (Caron) Gerald of Dayton Ohio, Sylvia (Willie) Smith of Fayetteville NC, and Dallas (Bonnie) Gerald, Gregory (Eulene) Gerald, Betty (Albert) Anderson, Johnny (Michelle) Gerald of Atlanta GA; two brother-in-laws, Charles (Loretta) Grice of Marion SC, Ellise (Janell) Grice of Dillon SC; four sister-in-laws, Mary Brown, Joyce (John) Hine, Daisy Bethea of Dillon SC, Jonnie Mae (Eddie Lee) Mchean of Marion SC; three aunts Mrs. Malvola Brown, Mrs. Lucille (McKever) Hemmingway, Debra Mack; a special friend Mrs. Sarah Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, many other loving relatives and caring friends all of whom will miss her dearly.
