Obituary

On Monday, August 20, 2018, the Master called our loved one Roosevelt Jones to eternal rest at his home in Trenton, New Jersey.   Roosevelt was born August 9, 1956 to the union of Mack & Flora Jones, in Mullins, South Carolina.  He attended the public schools in Mullins, SC.            

Roosevelt move to Trenton, New Jersey after graduation.  He joined Wayne Avenue Baptist Church, Trenton, New Jersey.  He was a former member of Son of Solomon Lodge #220 of Trenton, New Jersey.  Roosevelt was friends with The Cycle Kings Motorcycle Club Trenton, New Jersey.  His warm smile and generous spirit touched everyone he knew.  To know him was to love him.  There was something unique about him that drew people to him, young and old.    He was employed as a former at Homasote Company Trenton, New Jersey for twenty years.

Roosevelt, was preceded in death by his parents Mack Jones and Flora Jones; two brothers; and five sisters.                                                                                                                  

Roosevelt is survived by his devoted fiancée, Regina Brister-Shaw of the home; one son, Roosevelt Tart-Jones of Mullins, SC; one Daughter Nicole of the home;  six grand-children;  one brother:  James (Carolyn) Fulton of  Willingboro, NJ, five sisters: Geraldine Tisdale,  Cora Bell Fulton of  Marion, SC;  Alice Genwright of Mullins, SC, Clara Jones, Shirley Jones of Columbia, SC;  and a host of nieces, grand nieces, nephews, grand nephews, cousin, and friends.
