Mr. Rollins “Rock” Weeks departed this earthly life on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at McLeod Hospital in Dillon, South Carolina, after an illness. Rock was the son of the late Charlie Gerald and Mrs. Minnie Weeks-Ward; he was born March 26, 1954 in Mullins, South Carolina. He attended the public schools in Mullins, SC. He was employed at Mullins Leaf, So-Pak Co, and most recently he worked with Rev. Sam Brantley, before his health failed.
He was preceded in death by: his father; his mother; a brother, Daniel (Rat) Brunson; Agnes Weeks and Rose Berry Weeks; his uncle, Rollen Weeks, Sr., and Mrs. Frances Weeks Williams.
Surviving to cherish his fond memories are: three brothers, Deacon Edward Brunson of Mullins, Michael (Sylvia) Weeks and Mark Weeks (Brenda) of Lexington, South Carolina; three sisters: Essie (Nate) Sanders of Baltimore, MD, Delois (Roosevelt) Williamson of Columbia, and Zondra (James) McClain of Mullins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends around the Mullins area.
