Henry Lee Brown was born in Mullins SC to Eva Brown. After graduation Henry aka T-Bone went to college and was also a member of the Armed Forces. While in college he met the love of his life Betty Jean Middleton. They got together after graduation and moved to Atlantic City, NJ. While in there they began family and had three children. Anyone that knew him knew that he loved having family gatherings where he could share good laughs, eat good food and play games such as spades and dominoes. After a while, T-Bone brought his family back to Mullins where he continued to raise his family.
Later in life after moving to Tennessee with his eldest daughter, T-Bone found God and made First Baptist of Oak Grove his church home. He became ill and returned to Mullins with his youngest daughter, where God called him home.
He is preceded by the mother of his children Betty Jean Brown, and his only son Ronnie Lee Brown. His memory lives on through his two daughters, Celeste Michelle Brown of Clarksville TN, and Sonia Vanessa Brown of Mullins SC.
T-Bone, who affectionately became known as “POPS” also lives on through seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of “Adopted” children, grandchildren and, great-grandchildren who loves him dearly. May he rest in peace.
