Ernestine “Tina” Patrice Obituary

Ernestine "Tina" Elizabeth Patrice Ernestine “Tina” Patrice was born on May19th in Charlotte North Carolina to the late Bishop Archie Foxworth Sr. and the late Mother Mary Livingston Foxworth. God in his infinite wisdom, knowledge and own timing called his servant from labor to reward on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.

In the early 1970’s “Tina” met, fell in love and married Joseph Patrice, the love of her life. They were married on Sep 12, 1973. To this union were born four children. Joseph preceded her in death in 1991.

In 1994 she met and married Tony Johnson. To this union was born one daughter. Tony preceded her in death in 1999.

Bishop Patrice is the founder of Expressions of Praise I in Pinellas Park, Florida. In obedience to a call of the Lord. In which these ministries were organized by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. She received her call to service in 1986. To be equipped to proclaim the gospel of the Lord, she began studies in 1988 at the Bethel Bible Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she graduated with honors. She recalled in 1995, “God spoke to me while on my knees and said he would give me the gift to lay hands on the sick and by the power of Jesus Christ, they would recover.”

In 1996 as a result to her obedience to the Lord and a surrender of self; (then) Evangelist Patrice founded the Ministry of Reconciliation, Pentecostal Household of Faith in Charlotte, North Carolina; a healing and deliverance ministry. Expressions of Praise II was also started at this time. Through these ministries souls were saved, people were healed and delivered. She did not allow diversities to prevent her from seeking, believing and reaping mountain-top blessings for the ministries, associates, and all acquaintances to the ministry. Since its’ conception, she gave unselfishly of herself, time and talent., and because of her prevailing work for the Lord, Bishop A. Foxworth Sr., overseer of New Life, felt in his spirit that she should press toward a higher calling in the Lord and in 2006 she was ordained and installed Pastor of New Life Pentecostal Household of Faith, now known as New Life Praise & Worship Center located in Mullins, South Carolina in the Rains community. Pastor Tina was elevated by God. Under her pastoralship, God poured out his spirit tremendously in every service. Through her leadership God has increased, the church has enlarged and has been a blessing to the community. The Lord also allowed Pastor Patrice to establish special aide ministries as well as a third ministry, Expressions of Praise III in 2009. A few months later she became the overseer of the Enriching Words of Life International Ministries in Florida. On July 31st, 2015 during the International Holy Convocation in Boston Mass. Pastor Tina was Concecrated as a Bishop in the Lords Church, by her brother Archbishop A. Livingston Foxworth. She was entrusted to Oversee the Southern District of the Pentecostal Episcopal Church.

Bishop Patrice leaves to cherish the memories of her life, to her children Joseph Patrice III of Boston MA; Jermaine Patrice (Diana) of Charlotte NC; Jerel Patrice of Miramar FL; Jasmine Patrice of Charlotte NC and Teah Johnson of Charlotte NC; one brother and three sisters: Helen Foxworth of Charlotte NC; Archbishop A.
