Carol Gray Obituary

In His divine wisdom, early Saturday morning, September 7, 2019, the Lord called Carol Ceasar Gray home from labor to reward.

             

Carol was born March 15, 1955 to Maybell Ceasar-Graham and the late Mose Graham in Williamsburg County. She was raised by Mother Lela Skinner in a loving, Christian home in Mullins, SC. She attended the public schools of Marion County and graduated in the class of 1973 from Mullins High School. She continued her education at Florence Darlington Technical College, Florence SC. In 1971, Carol married the love of her life, Robert Gray, Sr. and to this union four wonderful children were born.

 

Carol was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Gray, Sr.; her adoptive mother, Lela Skinner; her birth father, Mose Graham; her mother-in-law, Eloise Gray Everett; her father-in-law, Washington Gray; brothers-in-laws, Ronnie Gray and Jimmy Gray.

 

Carol leaves to cherish fond memories: her loving and devoted children, three sons: Robert (Wanda) Gray, Jr., Sedrick D. Gray (Tyrena Cirocshic) both of Fayetteville NC, and Marcus Gray of the home; one daughter, Andrea (Kenneth) Sharp of Fayetteville NC; her grandchildren: Ashley Little (Nino Parker), Marquita Williams, Antonio Mullins, Deonna Gray, Marie Gray, Alexis Perry; her great-grandchildren: Elijah Gray Elliott, Shawn Little, Miela Parker, and Kaiser Parker; her brothers: James Pringle of Florence SC, Collins Graham and Jackie Graham both of Winston Salem NC; her sisters: Willa Mae (OJ) Jenerete of  Shallotte NC, Pearly Mae Graham and Laura Graham both of Winston Salem NC; brothers-in-law: Billy Gray, Sr. of Mullins SC, Glen (Thomasina) Everett of Washington DC, Keith Gray of Dothan, Alabama, Coleman (Cheryl) Everett of Fayetteville NC; sisters-in-law, Dolly (Richard) Hodge of Mullins SC and Pam Mosley of Dothan, Alabama; special friends: Tonie Gray, Anthony Mullins, Margie Mullins McClellan, Shelia Zollicoffer, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
