Bruce Jones

     Bruce Jones, the son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Jones, was born on January 19, 1954 in St. Stephens, South Carolina.

     He received his education in the Berkeley County public school system then served six years in the United States Marine Corps before being honorably discharged.

     On Sunday, April 21, 2019 while in the Ralph H Johnson VA Hospital, he answered the Master’s call. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Elizabeth Jones and one sister, Annie Dozelle.

     He leaves to cherish his memories; his companion Louvina of Mullins, SC five daughters: Donna Woods and Tamiko Jones of Atlanta, GA, Wendy (Charlie) Frazier of Springfield, IL; Natalie (Joseph) Armstrong of Lady’s Island, SC; Taliya Jones of Columbia, SC. One sister Geraldine Mazyck of St. Stephens, SC; four brothers, Samuel (Joan) Jones Jr. and Paul (Mary) Jones of St. Stephens, SC; Mark (Lula Mae) Jones of Salters, SC; and Jeffrey Jones of St. Stephens, SC.  Nine grandchildren; long-time companion Louvina Rowell of Mullins, SC; two special friends Richard Middleton of Fayetteville, NC; Clarkie Owen of Mullins, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved and adored him.
